Terms of Service

The boring legal stuff. We kept it short.

1. What This Is

The Lazy Developer is a free educational platform that teaches people how to build software applications using AI-assisted coding tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's totally fine — but please don't use the platform.

2. Your Account

You need an account to access course content. Keep your login details safe — we're not responsible if someone else gets into your account because your password was "password123." You must be at least 16 years old to use the platform.

3. The Content

All course content, tutorials, and materials on The Lazy Developer are provided for educational purposes. We do our best to keep things accurate and up-to-date, but AI tools and the tech landscape change fast — we can't guarantee everything will work identically on every setup.

The content is ours. You're welcome to learn from it, build with the techniques we teach, and share the platform with others. But please don't copy, redistribute, or resell our course materials.

4. What You Build

Anything you build using skills learned here is entirely yours. We claim zero ownership over your projects, apps, or businesses. Go build something amazing and keep all the credit (and the money).

5. Donations

The platform is free. Donations are entirely optional and non-refundable. They help cover hosting costs, development time, and coffee. We appreciate every one of them, but there's zero obligation.

6. Don't Be a Jerk

Don't use the platform to do anything illegal, harmful, or annoying. Don't try to hack it, scrape it, or use it in ways that could mess things up for other users. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Liability

We provide this platform "as is." We're not liable for any issues that arise from using the platform or applying what you've learned. This includes but isn't limited to: bugs in your apps, deployment mishaps, or accidentally deploying to production on a Friday afternoon. That one's on you.

8. Changes

We might update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use the platform after changes means you accept the new terms.

9. Contact
